Data we collect

We collect personal data in three ways.

Data you provide directly. When you fill in a form (demo request, contact, partner program, guide download), we collect the information you enter: last name, first name, email address, phone number, business name and, where applicable, the content of your message.

Data collected through our analysis tools. Our free tools (Google Business Profile audit, online presence analysis, calculators) process public information about the business you analyse. This includes in particular:

  • the name and public information of the business's Google Business Profile,
  • the audit score and indicators computed by our tools from that information,
  • the phone number publicly listed on the business's Google profile, retrieved via the Google Places API.

Browsing data. When you visit the site, we measure traffic and the effectiveness of our campaigns using cookies, under the conditions described in the "Cookies" section and governed by the consent banner.

Each processing operation relies on a legal basis provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Answering your requests and providing our tools. We use form data to handle your request, provide the service or document you asked for and follow up on the relationship. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

B2B commercial prospecting, including by phone. Data from our analysis tools, including the public phone number from the Google profile, may be used to contact the professionals concerned, in particular by phone call from our sales advisors, in order to present our services. This prospecting is aimed exclusively at professionals (B2B prospecting). Legal basis: Up Review's legitimate interest in developing its business (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR). You can object to this prospecting at any time, as stated in the "Your rights" section.

Traffic measurement and advertising campaigns. Measurement and marketing cookies are only set with your consent. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention periods

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

  • Prospecting data (including data from audits): kept for up to 3 years from the last contact left without a response, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Customer data: kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship, then archived for the duration of the applicable legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax obligations).
  • Browsing data and cookies: kept for a maximum of 13 months; proof of your consent is kept for up to 3 years.

Recipients and processors

Your data is intended for the authorised teams of Up Review (sales, marketing and support).

We use processors that handle data on our behalf and according to our instructions, in compliance with the GDPR. These include Pipedrive, our customer relationship management tool (CRM), used to organise the commercial follow-up of prospects and customers.

Transfers of data outside the European Union

Some of our processors, including Pipedrive, may process data outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, in order to ensure a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Union.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it.
  • Right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to object: object, at any time and without giving a reason, to the use of your data for commercial prospecting, including by phone.
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data, under the conditions provided for by the regulation.
  • Right to restriction of processing and right to portability of your data.

To exercise these rights, send your request to contact@upreview.fr. We may ask you for proof of identity in order to verify your capacity. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris.

Security

Up Review implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access. As the Internet is not a fully secure environment, we cannot however guarantee absolute security of the transmission of information.

Cookies

The site uses traffic-measurement and marketing cookies, set only after your consent. You can accept, decline or customise your choices at any time, then change them via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of each page. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function do not require consent.
