A rating stuck at 2.8 despite full dining rooms. Six weeks of prize game later, McDonald's Pignan shows 1,700 more reviews and a rebalanced reputation.
1,300 reviews on Google
3,000 reviews on Google

That is the challenge McDonald's Pignan took on, with a rating stuck at 2.8, driven mostly by unhappy customers.
With Up Review and a prize game built to boost Google reviews, rolled out on the kiosks, at the drive-through and in the dining room, the restaurant encouraged its happy customers to speak up.
In 6 weeks:

« We brought in Up Review to improve our visibility and encourage our customers to leave reviews.
The results were immediate: 1,700 reviews in 6 weeks and a rating up from 2.8 to 3.7 on Google! »
Lift the Google rating and generate more positive reviews
A low rating breeds doubt. By lifting its Google rating, the restaurant rebuilds credibility... and attracts more people.
It is often the unhappy customers who speak up online. Generating more authentic reviews rebalances the restaurant's real image.
The prize game with QR code turns waiting time into action. Customers take part, leave a review, and feel involved.
By playing and winning, customers leave with a good impression... and the urge to come back. A small gesture, a big impact.
To boost its online reputation, McDonald's Pignan ran a prize game with Up Review over a 6-week period, split into 3 successive waves.
Laminated A5 and A6 flyers were placed on the restaurant's tables and counters, easy to pick up while waiting. The idea was simple: scan a QR code, leave a Google review, and give the prize wheel a spin!
To maximise impact, two original supports were added: a life-size prize wheel at the entrance, and a custom visual on the drive-through kiosks.
